Make a Simple Roman Blind
- During the course of the day, you will learn all the techniques required to make a lined roman blind on a scaled down version
- Measure up for a blind and learn how to buy fabrics
- Cutting out your fabrics and lining, Attaching your fabric to the lining
- Preparing rod pockets. Mark out the fold positions, and attach rod pockets
- How to hem your blind, and attach velcro at the top
- Mark the positions of the cord rings, and attach them to the blind.
- Measure accurately the lengths of cords needed for the blind, attach them and finish with an acorn
- Cover your wooden baton with a matching fabric, and position screw eyes into the baton.
